"Young Dolphins" by Terry Johnston, 2008.
Acrylic painting; various colors; blue, green, yellow, black; rectangular shape; wood, velvet; First Nations Australian "dot" acrylic paint; framed and mounted on black velvet with cherry wood finish frame. Small round dots of various sized on black background with blue, pale green, and dark green dots arranged in organically shaped fields converging in each color field as outlined in smaller white dots. In center of painting are six dolphins with slight curved bodies pointing in different directions. Body of dolphins are medium gray with dark red fins, orange cheek patches, and a two-tone purple body panel, black outline on nose and bottom of body. Painting signed by Terry Johnston in lower right.
