"Maiden Voyage" by Scott Shaffer; bronze sculpture of an adult swan w/wings at its sides; top edge of wings ruffled; neck is relaxed on back, w/head slanted towards the ground; on back of the adult swan, between the wings is a cygnet, nestled in the feathers; over-all "French Brown" patina, with black tones on the cygnet and on nose of adult.
Purchased with money from: Col. Child's memorial fund, the Friends of the Littleton Library and Museum, and from the Littleton Museum.
