"Settlers' Remnants To Rust" by Kim Louise Glidden (design) and Steve Gastineau (metal), 2016. Made of steel tools and acrylic panels.
Artwork sponsored by the 2015 City of Littleton Placemaking Grant program (artwork completed the following year, in 2016). The triptych is representative of the view west along Littleton's Main Street, showing the Carnegie Library (Melting Pot restaurant) at center. A collage effect was created by the various metal objects, which include farm and household implements. These were donated to the artist by the community, and the work is intended to rust over time.
Originally located at the bank formerly at 2409 W. Main Street. In 2017, the bank building was sold, and the sculpture was moved to the Littleton Center Building at 2255 W Berry Ave.
