"Spinal Take" gets its inspiration from the Devil's Backbone open space near Loveland CO. The setting orange sun creates a bronze sky, which reflects across the spring terrain of green grass and flowers blooming across the high plans of the Front Range. The warmth of sap green and yellow combine with the cool shadows produced by the late afternoon light, leaving the viewer with the serene feeling of another day's end.
